Saint Joseph by-the-Sea Retreat House is sponsored by the Sisters of Saint Joseph. It provides opportunities for varied retreat experiences in the hope of contributing to the wholeness of lives and to a healthy rhythm of prayer and rest for the sake of our mission

Applications for the 30-Day Retreat accepted until January 8, 2027.

30-Day Retreat:

  • Type: 30 Day Ignatian Retreat (also known as the Long Retreat)

  • Format: The 30-Day Retreat according to the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius will be offered at Saint Joseph by-the-Sea in Sea Isle City, NJ, from September 7, 2027 to October 11, 2027. This time will include disposition and appropriation days.

    It is expected that the applicant has made six or eight-day silent directed retreats and is receiving spiritual direction.

  • Location: Saint Joseph by-the-Sea Retreat House in Sea Isle City, NJ

  • Dates: September 7, 2027 - October 11, 2027
