Companions on the Way

Companions on the Way is offering an online journey with the Spiritual Exercises for Ignatian educators and leaders.

About This Retreat:

  • Type: Retreat in Daily Life

  • *This retreat is designed for people who work in Jesuit schools

  • We are accepting applications for Companions on the Way, a special online version of the Spiritual Exercises, designed for Ignatian educators and leaders!

Why make the retreat online? We realize not everyone has access or desires to meet for their spiritual direction in-person and we know as members of an Ignatian community, there is a specific context that must be addressed as we discern the signs of the times - this program addresses both of these.

What is required to be a part of the program? A daily dedication to prayer and a weekly virtual meeting with a spiritual director. Those meetings are individually scheduled. There will also be five group meetings with those who are participating.

When should I sign-up? Because we are coordinating with spiritual directors from across the nation, it’s important we know the interest as soon as possible. Please see the registration link below.

When will the program start? We will begin in September of 2025 and go through May 2026.

How much does the program cost? The cost of the program is $1,500. Jesuit schools and works usually assist in deferring the cost of the retreat.
