On April 20 and 21, 2024, Ministerio Hispano Ignaciano of OIS and Ignatius House Jesuit Retreat Center in Atlanta, GA, kicked off a new Comunidades Hispanas Ignacianas (CHI) [Ignatian Hispanic Communities] program. A CHI is made up of a group of adults who meet regularly at least once a month, with a properly trained guide, to help deepen their faith and accompany each other on a spiritual path. Many thanks to the entire team at Ignatius House in making this possible!

Three sessions were held at St. Oliver Plunkett Catholic Church  and one at Ignatius House. These were in-depth and intensive sessions, full of blessings and enthusiasm from the participants from seven different parishes, the majority of whom completed their initial CHI guide training offered by OIS.

Ministerio Hispano Ignaciano will continue to communicate with each of the individuals to complete their training and for those who are ready, help them begin a new CHI program in their parish or join the existing CHI at Ignatius House. Through common efforts and in working as one, we are able to walk together in the Mission of the Lord.
